Faster Specific Absorption Rate Measurement Techniques
This paper presents faster Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) measurement techniques based on a previously proposed estimation method. This estimation method theoretically estimates the SAR from a 2-D scanned electric field (E-field) by basically applying the equivalence theorem and the image theory. The method reduces the SAR measurement time without sacrificing accuracy. We present the applicabil...
متن کاملMeasurement of the rate of fat absorption.
The rate of fat absorption has generally been measured either directly by determining the amount of lipide remaining in the alimentary tract after feeding fat, or indirectly by following the appearance of fat in the blood stream. The latter measurement is known to be influenced by factors other than the actual absorption of fat, such as the rate of removal of the lipides from the blood. This ra...
متن کاملmeasurement the absorption capacity of solar energy storage technology
Although solar energy is one of the most important renewable energies in Iran that most areas of the country, especially the Central Desert, have considerable ability to use, but the random nature of this type of energy makes it difficult to predict its output power and may cause problems in the performance of the feed systems. For this reason, the use of energy storage systems for periods of l...
متن کاملEmerging technology for shielding of electromagnetic radiation using composite materials
This study indicated that multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)-epoxy composites can be used as effective lightweight shielding materials. The measurement results showed that highest EMI SE of 23.4 dB at 8 GHz was obtained for nanocomposite with 1 wt% MWCNTs. Dielectric properties and electrical conductivity values were supplemented by microscopic studies.
متن کاملInnovation Rate of Change Measurement Part 1: Information Technology (it)
It is possible to characterize the different stages of history according the type of technology available. The last fifty years of human history have been referred to as “The Information Age" because of the great advancements and innovations of technology in electronics, computers and communications. The first part of this work presents a method based on the generation and exploitation of a dat...
